We aim to engage and inspire all italian children to speak English with confidence and enjoyment, providing a brighter future for every individual.
We understand that there is not enough time in the school day to practice oral skills and implement role play. At Action it Theatre, we ensure all of our teaching is directed in an interactive way, so that children learn by doing!
Our Story
Action it theatre company was founded by Jennifer Birch in 2010. Jennifer is a professionally trained actress who started her theatrical career at the age of 12.
Jennifer already had a number of theatre in educational experiences to her name when she started teaching in Italy in 2001. She quickly realised the powerful impact that using drama, art, music, and sport played in learning languages.
Jennifer has developed fantastic relationships with people in her industry and utilises their expertise when delivering courses and touring productions. Action it theatre employ a wonderful team to help deliver the courses and productions. Staff include professionally trained actors, theatre directors, professional choreographers,English teachers, professional artists and sports coaches. This way we don’t just teach English – we teach new skills at the same time!
